The Saboteur is an open world third person action-adventure video game set during World War II in German-occupied France. The game centers on protagonist Sean Devlin and his quest to seek revenge for his friend's murder. Throughout the game, Sean is recruited by the French Resistance, its leader Luc, and British SOE, who help him throughout the story. The story takes place during World War II and the German occupation of France, but the war itself is used as a backdrop to the main story.

Sean visits a gentleman's club frequented by Nazi soldiers at one point in the game. The game featured a DLC unlock code that would remove the clothes of the female dancers... The code was free for original purchasers of the game, but second hand gamers had to pay to unlock the feature. How cheeky!
